The Duhks is a band from Winnipeg, Canada.
The five members play a blend of Canadian soul, gospel, North American folk, Brazilian samba, old time country string band, zydeco, and Irish dance music. Four of them hail from Winnipeg, Manitoba and the fifth member (Tania Elizabeth) is from Victoria, British Columbia. Their music draws heavily on all of the North American musical traditions, while successfully integrating Latin-music-influenced percussion. Their first album, Your Daughters & Your Sons was nominated for a Juno award. Their eponymous second album won a Juno for Best Roots & Traditional Album by a Group, and “Heaven’s My Home,” from their third album, was nominated for the 2007 Grammy award for Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal.

The Beatles Stereo Box Set is a box set compilation comprising all of the remastered stereo recordings by The Beatles. The set was released on 9 September 2009, the same day both The Beatles: Rock Band and the remastered mono recordings were released (see The Beatles in Mono). The remastering project for both mono and stereo versions was led by EMI senior studio engineers Allan Rouse and Guy Massey.

This is the third complete box set collection of original Beatles albums after The Beatles Collection and The Beatles Box Set.
The sixteen disc collection contains the remastered stereo versions of every album in the Beatles catalogue. The first four albums are making their CD debut in stereo, though some songs have appeared on CD in stereo through various compilations. Both Help! and Rubber Soul use the 1987 remixes prepared by George Martin for the original CD releases. The original 1965 mixes can be found on The Beatles in Mono box set on their respective discs as a bonus feature. Magical Mystery Tour is presented in the sequence and artwork of its original North American album release, as opposed to the UK six-song EP. Yellow Submarine is presented in its original format, not the 1999 Songtrack version. All CDs replicate their original album labels as first released, from the various Parlophone Records variations, to the Capitol Records label (for Magical Mystery Tour) and the UK Apple Records label from The Beatles through Let It Be. Each of the albums except Past Masters includes a mini-documentary, mainly drawing from The Beatles Anthology (with a few animated 3D scenarios made up of original photos thrown in), about the album in QuickTime format. The Beatles and Past Masters are two-CD sets.

’s music is like an imaginary river. If looked for on a map, it would start somewhere in India. It would head out west and follow a fairly certain path while constantly changing in size and intensity, through the Orient and into the Balkans. From there, things get a little more confusing. Like a delta it spreads, and none of its offshoots take precedence over the others. It keeps moving - west, north, south, looping around itself, on the way adding dancehall and electro, reggae and house, bossa and breakbeats, jazz and ragga to the mix. With his ever-growing list of featured vocal collaborators like Cloud Tissa, Jimi D, Selecta Bence et.al., continues to expand and recreate his unique musical universe, beyond any borders set between the cultures by the prejudices of the fundamentalists on all sides.
For Raindrops and Elephants other musical traditions bubble to the surface and enter the stream from the deep, wide wells of Piranha Musik’s repertoire: Simentera from the Cape Verde Islands and Fanfare Ciocarlia from the Carpathian Mountains, Boban i Marko Markovic from the banks of the Danube river and Frank London from New York’s Lower East Side, Ihsan Al-Mounzer from resurrected Beirut, Ruth Yaakov from ancient Jerusalem and Watcha Clan from Marseilles’ hard harbour ‘hood. In ’s Piranha Re:Interpretations, the influences from both sides are clearly visible and wholly harmonious.
